Australian painter, who spent some time in England, up to 1923 when he settled permanently in Victoria. He was knighted in 1937. From the description of Letters [manuscript]. 1894-1940. (Libraries Australia). WorldCat record id: 225836391 Australian artist. Streeton retired in 1938 to a cottage in Olinda in the Dandenong Ranges where he devoted himself to gardening.
